How can we say that we love someone when we do not trust them? Love is a word that has been tossed around for so long that it has literally lost its means and its power. We have even went as far as creating a holiday which symbolizes our love for each other demonstrated through cuddly bears, pink and red hearts, flowers and boxes of chocolate. Looking at how love is demonstrated today Im sure your wondering how love equals trust. Love trust when situations don't seem to work out the way, love trust God when you dont know what to do. Love believes the best in everyone. Love challenges you to do whats right. Ephesians 4:15 speaking the truth in love... Everytime I want to speak the truth I always remember this verse. Theres a way to tell the truth even if that truth may hurt when its spoken in love it well received. Love is something we do easily but trust is harder for us to live by, but knowing that you can't have love without trust will give a better understanding of what love truly is.
Be blessed

The Power of Love
Who would have ever thought that love and power are one in the same. I had a powerful revelation last week regarding our purpose for life. Have you ever asked yourself, "who is God?" Most people get really technical in answering this question when the answer is so obvious yet so discreet. In 1 John 4:16 God is Love. This is the only time in the bible that clearly states who God is. Its hard to image as powerful as God is, the creator of the heavens and earth, can be something as simple as love. I had such a revelation when I read chapter 4 in 1 John. The verse goes on to say "whoever lives in love lives in God and God in him. So that means that love is a state of being, a characteristics, a trait, or personal attribute. If you live in something then that is who you are. If you live in happiness then your happy, if you live in peace, then your peaceful, and if you live in love the you are love. Let me confirm this further, the next verse in the chapter says "as He is, so are we in this world. Once again who is He (God), as indicated in 1 John 4:16 God is love. Lets read this again with love added, "as He is love so are we love in this world. Wow how powerful is that. I am love!!When you see an opportunity to walk in unconditional love you see an opportunity to walk in great power
Genesis 1:26 God said, "let us make man in our likeness and in our image."When reading this because of our natural physical thinking, we automatically think that God's image and likeness means that He looks like us in the physical. But His likeness and image is Love. Remember God is Love. So if we are make in His likeness that's who are are called to be, LOVE..
SO the question I asked upon receiving this revelation was simply; how do I become LOVE? its so easy to think. I love my husband, I love my mom, etc. But its easy to love family but that's not the God kind of love which is unconditional love. I found the answer to my question in
John 1:1 In the beginning was the word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.If the word is God and God is love then you can conclude that the Word and God's Love is one in the same. So you become love by spending time in God's word. The Word is just a written manual to teach us how to love like God. The key to loving like God is reading His word day and night!

Love, the Gift that keeps on giving!!
First lesson on love:
John 3:16 For God so LOVED the world that He GAVE His one and only Son.
-Gods love is the gift that keeps on giving. When you operate in the God kind of love you are in a constant state of giving. Even what is most precious to you, like Jesus was to God, you will freely give in order to benefit the life of others. The God kind of love is not self seeking, it doesn’t value its wants and desires above others (1Cor. 13:4). The God kind of love always puts other before them and gives to others freely because you know that God has your back and He will provide you with all you need and more. You know that it is God who exhalts, He is the one who gives the honor, not yourself or other man. The attitude of love is to give unconditionally without expecting anything in return. You must understand that when you give, you are operating in the kingdom system so you are giving for a higher good. When you operate in that system everybody wins, everyone benefits. Luke 6:38 says give and it will be given good measure, shaken together, and running over will be poured unto your lap. Running over is the overflow. When a glass is overflowing with a liquid substance it can not be contained, it begins to spill over and effect the surface of another. That’s what happens when you give out of love, you know that your giving unconditional because that persons life will be effected, the environment around you will also be effected.

Let The Journey Begin!
How often are we faced with obstacles and challenges just to give up, cave in and quite before we start. Thank God we can start a new walk with Christ. I am embarking on a new journey. A new journey that will help me push myself to the next level and become the woman that God has called me to be. At the age of 28 you thing you know everything there is to know about yourself, but over the past years I realize that I don’t have a clue. This journey will cause me to change the way the see my life and grab a hold of the abundant life that Jesus died for me to have. How could I continue to be average after all that Jesus has done for me.. Seriously, it time for a change, and change is good.
Areas of Change
First and foremost is perfecting my love walk: Jesus said in John 13:34 "I give you a new command, love one another just as I have loved you." We're suppose to love like Jesus loved unconditionally. But how can we compare to the powerful love of Christ, He loved us so much that He endured the cross for us even when everyone, including His disciples, turned their backs on Him when He needed them most. That's powerful love and were capable of loving just like Jesus. How can I be so confident to say that, because Romans 5:5 says that Gods love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit. So that's proves that we are capable for loving like God. Can you image loving someone who hurt you, talk bad about your behind your back or even in your face and you love them anyway. Now that's the love of God!! Don't worry, were going to dig deep into this subject later on.

As I look at my current situation its seems impossible for me to have financial freedom but God specializes in situations like this, with God ALL things are possible and that 'ALL' includes my finances. As a child of God its a disgrace and dishonor for Him to see me in lack. Imagine have a child that dresses in rags and claims you to be his parent. As a parent knowing you have the ability to sufficiently supply your child with everything he needs its a disgrace for you to see your child live this way, not only that but it will be hard for people to believe that he's your child. That is exactly what the world thinks when they look at you struggling and living a live of lack. I now realize the importance of living the abundant life, the life Jesus died for me to have. Jesus died so I can freely have this abundant life through faith. Just think everything you desire and want the blood of Jesus has already paid the price for you to have. Galatians 3:29 says "If you belong to Christ (which I do) then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." So I am an heir of the most High God and Abraham's blessings are mine. Say goodbye to lack and hello to prosperity!
The third and final area is becoming the woman God has called me to be:
This where your true power is demonstrated because you can clearly hear Gods instructions, you're so sure of yourself and who you are that you can't be moved when temptation comes and you boldly stand up for the things of God. Jesus told us what our true calling is as Christians in Mark 16:17-18
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Talk about walking in your spiritual authority. This is what it truly means to walk in the power of God. This is our true purpose in this world. 1 John 5:17 say that we are as He (Jesus) is in this world. We are called to represent Christ in every area of our lives. Jesus Himself even confirmed that in John 10:34 the prophetic scripture in Psalm 82: 6 "I said, You are ''gods''; you are all the sons of the Most High." How powerful is that. If I am a son (daughter) of the Most High God then I should be reflecting His greatness in every area of my life. If I came across someone who is sick, they are healed because I reflect God greatness. I have come across someone who is in lack, they are fulfilled because of the abundance of God within me.
