Love, the Gift that keeps on giving!!

First lesson on love:
John 3:16 For God so LOVED the world that He GAVE His one and only Son.

-Gods love is the gift that keeps on giving. When you operate in the God kind of love you are in a constant state of giving. Even what is most precious to you, like Jesus was to God, you will freely give in order to benefit the life of others. The God kind of love is not self seeking, it doesn’t value its wants and desires above others (1Cor. 13:4). The God kind of love always puts other before them and gives to others freely because you know that God has your back and He will provide you with all you need and more. You know that it is God who exhalts, He is the one who gives the honor, not yourself or other man. The attitude of love is to give unconditionally without expecting anything in return. You must understand that when you give, you are operating in the kingdom system so you are giving for a higher good. When you operate in that system everybody wins, everyone benefits. Luke 6:38 says give and it will be given good measure, shaken together, and running over will be poured unto your lap. Running over is the overflow. When a glass is overflowing with a liquid substance it can not be contained, it begins to spill over and effect the surface of another. That’s what happens when you give out of love, you know that your giving unconditional because that persons life will be effected, the environment around you will also be effected.

  1. I faced a huge challenge today concerning my love walk. It was so challenging. But instead of reacting based off my emotions, I took the time to pray and trust God. I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. Unconditional love truly gives. When you say you love someone you literally have to be willing to give everything you have and put your feelings aside. Love Gives!
